A Success Team is a group of like minded people pulling together to
reach a target or targets inside the team. An Inspirational Dreamteam/
Success Group provides support, motivation, inspiration, hand-holding,
bottom kicking and encouragement to each & every member
including themselves.
Inspirational Dreamteams won't let you forget your dreams or chicken out!
They will keep you going through hard times, high times, slow spots &
good times. Steadily, slowly step by step, week by week they will be
your safely net and the trampoline from which to bounce your dreams from.
They will take you through setbacks, stages, stagnation, wobbly moments
and other scary stuff you don't always understand. Then one day, despite
never having found a positive attitude, self-belief or self discipline, you arrive
slap right in the middle of your dream or goal.
Inspirational Dreamteams make Keep Going their battle cry and will help
you to find the courage, strength and creativity to keep your dream alive.
You'll do more in a Dreamteam than you would on your own, because
you won't want to let the rest of your group down as you know they
are all wanting you to do well. This is human nature and just one of
the reasons these groups work so brilliantly.
They will recognise your fears because they all have them too. We are
human beings with tantrums, procrastination tricks, worries, and lack of
confidence. Your Inspirational Dreamteam will baby-sit your inner brat,
agree with your gripes and tell you it's time to get going again.
They will if you need it, hold your hand to get you to the next step, as
you in turn will hold theirs, and they'll wait around to see how it went.
They will share in your successes, help you find continuity when you
suffer a setback, they will buoy up your confidence and encourage you
with a supportive attitude. Inspirational Dreamteams provide structure,
tools & encouragement to help you make your dreams, wishes and desires
more real. They will help you stretch yourself and Dare to Dream!
You don't have to change your self. Your ordinary self is good enough and
is capable of doing extraordinary things - with a little help from your
non-judgemental dreamteam. This is why Success Teams work.

As Barbara Sher, whose brainchild these groups are says 'Isolation is a
dream killer." How many times have you tried to achieve something on
your own only to fall down flat or become so overwhelmed that you just
give up? You are not alone. We all have times like this. A Dreamteam
can help you have less of those times and more moments of delight as
you progress confidently in the direction of your dreams. It's never about
your attitude or character (OK you might have to have a bit more possibility
thinking showing up) it's about your set of circumstances, and your group
is there to help you create the right set of circumstances to enable you to
do what you love and love your life doing it.
Success Groups work because they tap into every human beings individually.
They access the parts where your hope, dreams, imagination & creativity
reside. Sometimes these gifts are dormant, sometimes forgotten, sometimes
buried, lost or asleep.
When you become part of an Inspirational Dreamteam Success Group, you
will find yourself rediscovering childhood dreams, recovering your inner
gifts, and rekindling what it is you want to do with the rest of your life. You
will find a space to share your hopes and dreams and a place to fill up on
positive possibility, creative brainstorming and supportive solution finding.
There are no judgements and no right or wrong ways - only your dreams,
your wishes and the tools to help you realise them. Each Success Group
runs for 8 weeks and is made up of 4/6 members. You can have individual
dreams, small dreams, large dreams or unsure dreams. You can have
a group dream if you all know each other and want to make it more real.
Each week a different member will lead the group. Handouts and
homework of the creative variety is given out by Detta, who will sit in on
most of the meetings. Don't be put off - this is your opportunity to become
the investigator of your own dreams. The cost is small and the results big.
Each meeting is for around One 1/2 hours - 2 hours. When the eight weeks
are up - you are able to continue as your own Inspiratonal Dreamteam for
as long as you wish. Some actually run for years and firm friendships
have been made.
An Inspirational Dreamteam Success Group is a place to grow your
dreams with the help of your very own support network behind you.
